Communicative Language Teaching
Teaching techniques vary regarding teaching language to individuals, particularly when it comes to the process of teaching second languages to students. Communicative language teaching is different from other approaches because it focuses on student interaction with the teacher and other students as a means of creating language skills in a new language. This clearly is different from other forms of teaching language, first of all because its goal, as the name implies, is communication. Instead of long lessons of memorization and drilling in a new language, communicative language teaching relies on the participation of the student in conversation with the instructor and other students as a means of making the new language relevant to the student and therefore easier to learn and recall.

Mnemonic Techniques
No matter what your station in life right now, whether you are a student or a senior citizen or fall somewhere in between there is a time and a place for you to remember complex lists of information. To do this you have likely used mnemonics.
For those who do not know mnemonics is the process of using key memory techniques to remember almost anything. The September song is a good example of mnemonics at work helping us recall how many days each month has.

What Is Mnemonics?
If you have to memorize a list of long, complicated names that make no sense, you’re not alone. A lot of people have to do this. This is where mnemonics can help.
What are mnemonics? Basically, mnemonics are devices that help you remember otherwise disjointed facts that might not hang together in your noggin for easy memorization. One popular mnemonic that helps you remember a month’s number of days, for example, is, “30 days hath September, April June and November. All the rest have 31, excepting February alone; which hath but 28 in fine, till leap year gives it 29.”
