GENDER DIFFERENCES IN EDUCATION

Many people have come to ask themselves, are all children the same? If the answer is yes, then what makes a girl child fear her male counterpart in education? Could the society be playing a part in instilling fear among female children? If so, how exactly is the society doing so? What could be done to save the situation? At what age in the female child’s life is this corrective measure supposed to be instilled? These questions, together with some others, are going to form a basis of our argument in this article.

Types of Assessment
Assessments are a way to try and measure how well students are understanding concepts or materials that are being taught. There are a number of ways in which assessments can be carried out. To fully get an accurate picture one needs to use a range of assessments to grade or evaluate students. This ensures that one gets an accurate picture of the students. Different assessment types are utilized depending on the goal intended.

Cooperative Learning Research
The objective in cooperative learning is for people to work with their peers to complete a set goal. It is through reliance on one another that the objective is carried out. Each person is responsible for the outcome of the agenda. There are certain elements that are important for this to occur. A sense of positive independence has to be present. The group needs to be able to rely on each other to finish a set task. Without any one member of the group, the task cannot be completed.

Instructional Design Model
The Instructional Design Model is nothing but the manual in which instructions are given as to how a given task should be done to achieve the required goal with a stated level of accuracy. It is helpful for the designer to perform the tasks in a manner that can be easily understood. The instructional design model gives an idea of how to deal with the present situation to achieve the appropriate goal.

The current study of high stakes assessment is related to the predictive relationship of traditional basic literacy skills. It is mainly based on oral reading fluency scores to high stakes test performance. To study this, data should be collected from several students, separated into three groups according to their levels.
