If you ask educators, they will cite current issues in education that are different from a parent’s perspective. It used to be that parents were more involved in their children’s education, but many parents work outside the home and can’t help with the child’s discipline or education. Parents and educators will agree that funding is a problem, when you consider current issues in education, but others argue that a lack of discipline is to blame. There is more violence and killing by school age children now than at any other time in our history.

It used to be that there were a couple of "bad kids" who were spoiled or came from broken homes. Now it is hard to predict which child is the most likely to be the next one charged with murder. Many of them are from broken homes and lack discipline. If both parents are present, it is possible that there is a lack of positive mental stimulation and the learning patterns of the child are greatly affected, while his personality becomes anti-social.

A child’s learning experience will affect his behavior and ethics in later years, so it requires mental stimulation that is positive and involves a variety of sensory experiences. Some children are bored with computers, video games, and other normal stimulation. They are growing up too fast, not taking time to experience a child’s life before making these bad decisions.

Current issues in education are partly to blame because teachers are less motivated with lack of funding, lack of pay raises, and a bunch of rowdy children who can be challenging and disrespectful. Many of the current issues in education can be traced back to a home life that lacks the proper mental stimulation to make a well-rounded child.
