With so many distractions in the home – TVs, radios, computer games, the sounds of traffic outside and the general commotion in the home, children are likely to develop poor study habits and skills. As a parent, this poses a problem, especially if you’re getting too many letters from the school principal. Scolding the kids or withholding their allowances won’t help any. Now how do you solve the problem, if the kid is not Maria (with apologies to Maria Von Trapp)?
