If your child is entering middle school, he is actually entering a crucial period in his student life. This period marks the transition or passage into adulthood. He will be facing many challenges in middle school as he will need to adjust to and learn about more practical knowledge, more mature reasoning and more detailed career study. In this light, he will need to acquire an effective approach to learning and reviewing information. He is likely to survive the demands of an increased schoolwork load only when he is equipped with all the necessary learning tools, skills and techniques. Prepping him up with his own survival kit will help him cope with this new academic adventure. One way of ensuring academic success is by including middle school study skills in that kit.
