Early Childhood Lesson Plans
“Give me a child until he is seven and I will give you the man,” wrote Francis Xavier, and while he may not have been an eminent psychologist, he certainly understood the formative nature of early childhood. Numerous studies have shown that preschoolers learn at a prodigious rate, absorbing anything from foreign languages to mathematical patterns like a sponge. As children grow up, a plethora of barriers come up in their learning, from low self-esteem to anger management issues to poor social skills, all of which can affect how well they take on the curriculum in the classroom. It is possible to begin to embed the skills needed to tackle these problems before they start elementary school, and this article aims to outline a typical session which will help each child to develop into a lifelong learner.

Early Childhood Lesson Plans
Some say that we learn by doing. This seems especially true for young children. To teach youngsters we can’t merely hand them a book with printed information and expect them to absorb the knowledge. Instead we must design activity-based lessons. The idea sounds simple at first, but when we think about its practical application it sounds more daunting. But early childhood lesson plans don’t have to be some intricate complex design that only the most educated among us can create. We were all children once. We just need a few basic things to get us started. Let’s examine a few items we need to have in place before we begin to share knowledge with youngsters.
