Why do frightening events have such strong hold on people? People remember that scary feeling and events associated with it for a long, long time because they had an adrenalin surge. Accelerated Learning

There are several different learning methods that people use to help them learn and remember what they’ve learned. Most of us are familiar with the note-taking method of learning. By taking notes as you read material or listen to a speaker you are actually calling attention to the material twice. The point of accelerated or enhanced learning is to make the information more accessible to the brain. This is done through repetition and reinforcement. Some other people may find that they use different types of styles under different circumstances. Just know that there is not a “right” mix, and the types of learning styles you use are constantly changing as you age and experience new things.
